Adventures in parenting:

1. When one child gets sick, the others are soon to follow.
2. Walmart fruit snacks make a good pink color when mixed.
3. A child's throw-up is pink after they eat Walmart fruit snacks.
4. The smell of said throw-up can make an adult throw-up.
5. A child's throw-up makes a royal mess on the carpet.
6. A child's throw-up also makes a royal mess on the bedding.
7. Washing machines break down when a child has just thrown up.
8. It's a good idea not to put clothespins in a washing machine.
9. Washing machines break down when a clothespin gets stuck in the drain pump.
10. It takes about 2 hours to discover the clothespin in the drain pump, then put the thing back together again.
11. A washer is not fun to take apart and then put back together.
12. The water in the washing machine sloshes around.
13. The same water gets all over the floor and makes a mess too.
14. The combination of throw-up and diahrrea is not a pleasant sight, smell, or thing to clean.
15. All this happened at 1:00 AM on Sunday, the 15th of February.
16. It is hard to be patient when awaiting the arrival of a baby.
17. I'm not trying to be gross, it's just rather ironic.
